Bio | Born in 1984 near Manchester (UK), I studied the Natural Sciences Tripos (mathematics, psychology, history and philosophy of science) at the University of Cambridge before completing a PhD at the University of Manchester and working as a social anthropologist from 2008-2019. I have recently chosen to leave the university sector and currently work as a freelance copy-editor and translator spending my time between the UK and the Balkans, whilst I continue my training in TA. From 2014 onward I have been training in transactional analysis with an interest in critical approaches to psychotherapy and counselling. I have completed TA101, TA201 & TA202, and have a Serbian TA Practitioner certificate. I have written and published articles at the intersection between psychotherapy and critical sociology. Finally, I have a technical role as the email and website coordinator for the European Network for Psychological Anthropology (ENPA). |
